And now our camper is all tucked in nice and warm for the winter. I started tearing apart the kitchen to put in a oven. It had a counter top 2 burner cook top and a convection microwave. The convection m/w was too small for proper baking. So, I'm putting in a stove with a nice big oven.

Well, we had a great week at the HDT (Heavy Duty Truck) Rally in Hutchinson, Kansas. We're on our way back to MN now. Made it to Ames, IA, and we're going to spend the night in a machine shop parking lot, quiet and level. I just made smoothies and a hot pocket for me and re-heated mac & cheese for Paula. Buck had as much, if not more, fun than we did at the rally. He was rather popular with the ladies there.

Summer is here!

I was advised that I hadn't posted anthing for too long. Sorry. Well, I've gotten a few trips on the motorhome so far this summer. Lovin' it. We went to Omaha for a weekend family visit between my mother-in-law and her sister, and our families. Great times. They even got to watch the Twins baseball game on satelite tv on the way back.

Then Eric and I loaded his '87 Vette in the trailer and went to Brainerd for a NASA (National Auto Sport Association) race day. Eric did great and the car ran flawlessly. I had fun watching and even got to ride a 40 minute session with him. Love hangin' out in/around the camper and visiting with great friends.

Paula and I went to Lindbergh State Park, Little Falls, for an overnight camp. Got in a trail run on Friday, great dinner, s'mores by the campfire, trail run again Saturday, great brunch, loaded up and pulled out by 11:30. Too short but every moment with Paula is a treasure. Then we drove up to the Winsor Lake Compound in Detroit Lakes for an overnight. Paula did a bunch of gardening while I watched and played with Goldie, and visited with my parents.

Love the rv life! Truck Conversions rule the road.
